71. Surah An-Nur (24:14)

  وَلَوْلَا فَضْلُ اللَّهِ عَلَيْكُمْ وَرَحْمَتُهُ فِي الدُّنْيَا وَالْآخِرَةِ لَمَسَّكُمْ فِي مَا أَفَضْتُمْ فِيهِ عَذَابٌ عَظِيمٌ ‎﴿النور: ١٤﴾‏

And if it had not been for the favor of Allah upon you and His mercy in this world and the Hereafter, you would have been touched for that [lie] in which you were involved by a great punishment.

72. Surah An-Nur (24:20)

وَلَوْلَا فَضْلُ اللَّهِ عَلَيْكُمْ وَرَحْمَتُهُ وَأَنَّ اللَّهَ رَءُوفٌ رَّحِيمٌ ‎﴿النور: ٢٠﴾‏

And if it had not been for the favor of Allah upon you and His mercy and because Allah is Kind and Merciful.

Qur'anic Verses on Mercy (61–70)

61. Surah Al-Khaf (18:98)

قَالَ هَـٰذَا رَحْمَةٌ مِّن رَّبِّي فَإِذَا جَاءَ وَعْدُ رَبِّي جَعَلَهُ دَكَّاءَ وَكَانَ وَعْدُ رَبِّي حَقًّا ‎

﴾الكهف: ٩٨ ﴿

He said, “This is a mercy from my Lord; but when the promise of my Lord comes, He will level it, and the promise of my Lord is ever true.”

62. Surah Maryam (19:2)

ذِكْرُ رَحْمَتِ رَبِّكَ عَبْدَهُ زَكَرِيَّا ‎‏

﴾مريم: ٢﴿

This is a mention of the mercy of your Lord to His servant Zechariah.

 Verse 51

وَإِمَّا تُعْرِضَنَّ عَنْهُمُ ابْتِغَاءَ رَحْمَةٍ مِّن رَّبِّكَ تَرْجُوهَا فَقُل لَّهُمْ قَوْلًا مَّيْسُورًا ‎  

  ﴿ ‏       الإسراء: ٢٨ ﴾

And if you [must] turn away from them [awaiting] mercy from your Lord which you expect, then speak to them a gentle word.

Verse 52

أُولَـٰئِكَ الَّذِينَ يَدْعُونَ يَبْتَغُونَ إِلَىٰ رَبِّهِمُ الْوَسِيلَةَ أَيُّهُمْ أَقْرَبُ وَيَرْجُونَ رَحْمَتَهُ وَيَخَافُونَ عَذَابَهُ إِنَّ عَذَابَ رَبِّكَ كَانَ مَحْذُورًا ‎‏

﴿ ‏  الإسراء: ٥٧ ﴾

Those they call upon themselves seek means of access to their Lord, [striving as to] which of them would be nearest, and they hope for His mercy and fear His punishment. Indeed, the punishment of your Lord is ever feared.

Verse 53

وَنُنَزِّلُ مِنَ الْقُرْآنِ مَا هُوَ شِفَاءٌ وَرَحْمَةٌ لِّلْمُؤْمِنِينَ وَلَا يَزِيدُ الظَّالِمِينَ إِلَّا خَسَارًا

﴿ ‏  الإسراء: ٨٢﴾

And We send down of the Qur’an that which is healing and mercy for the believers, but it does not increase the wrongdoers except in loss.

 41 Surah Hūd (11:63)

قَالَ يَا قَوْمِ أَرَأَيْتُمْ إِن كُنتُ عَلَىٰ بَيِّنَةٍ مِّن رَّبِّي وَآتَانِي مِنْهُ رَحْمَةً فَمَن يَنصُرُنِي مِنَ اللَّهِ إِنْ عَصَيْتُهُ فَمَا تَزِيدُونَنِي غَيْرَ تَخْسِيرٍ ‎﴿هود: ٦٣﴾‏

He said, “O my people, have you considered: if I should be upon clear evidence from my Lord and He has given me mercy from Himself, who would protect me from Allah if I disobeyed Him? So you would not increase me except in loss.”
 

S 42. Surah Hūd (11:66)

فَلَمَّا جَاءَ أَمْرُنَا نَجَّيْنَا صَالِحًا وَالَّذِينَ آمَنُوا مَعَهُ بِرَحْمَةٍ مِّنَّا وَمِنْ خِزْيِ يَوْمِئِذٍ إِنَّ رَبَّكَ هُوَ الْقَوِيُّ الْعَزِيزُ ‎﴿هود: ٦٦﴾‏

So when Our command came, We saved Ṣāliḥ and those who believed with him, by mercy from Us, and from the disgrace of that day. Indeed, it is your Lord who is the Powerful, the Exalted in Might.
